  1. SAM Driver for Sensotec Euroscope
  2.  
  3. This is a fully functional SAM driver for use with the Sensotec Euroscope.
  4.  
  5. The driver works in both Windows 95 and Windows NT.
  6.  
  7. To use this driver, the Euroscope must be set so that the Braille display is active. You will also need to set the keyboard active if you wish to send commands from the Braille keys of the Euroscope to your computer.

  9. To make these settings on the Euroscope:

  11. Press function key 1 together with the spacebar to activate the Braille display.
  12.  
  13. Press function key 1 to activate the keyboard.
  14.  
  15. Consult the Euroscope manual for further details.

  17. Please report any bugs to Dolphin. If it crashes please tell us the crash address and registers etc, from the crash message box, also report the driver version number (check with explorer - file properties).

  20. Automatic detection of Braille displays.

  23. The speech synthesiser in the Euroscope is not used.

  25. Key assignments
  26. The following lists the default keys to press for each Braille operation.
  27. Your screen reader may not support some of these operations.
  28. These assignments use the four round buttons to the left and right of the Braille line. They are labelled N1, N2, N3 and N4.

  30. Move to top left of window: N1 + N2 + N3
  31. Move to bottom left of window: N2 + N3 + N4
  32. Move to focus: N1 + N4
  33. Move one line up: N1
  34. Move one line down: N4
  35. Read backwards: N2
  36. Read forwards: N3
  37. Switch to Attribute mode 1: N1 + N3
  38. Switch to Attribute mode 2: N2 + N4
  39. Toggle physical layout mode: N2 + N3
